What the job actually involves
A clean pane behind a grey screen still looks dirty, and a gritty track will drip mud down fresh glass the first time it rains. Screens and tracks are included in our standard house clean, and they can also be booked on their own.
Screens come out, get labelled, are washed flat with a soft brush and rinsed, then dried before they go back into the opening they came from. Tracks are vacuumed, scrubbed and wiped dry.

How we run a visit
Four or five steps, the same every time, so you always know what happens next.

Label and remove
Each screen is tagged by room and opening so nothing comes back in the wrong window.

Wash flat
Screens are laid on a padded rack, brushed with mild soap and rinsed rather than scrubbed upright.

Detail the track
Vacuum first, then scrub the corners and wipe dry, including weep holes.

Refit and test
Screens go back, every sash is opened and closed once to confirm it still runs freely.

Most of the grey film that returns to clean glass comes off a dirty screen in the first rain.
Windows that slide again
Grit in the track is the usual reason a sash sticks. Cleaning it fixes most of them.
Damage spotted early
We report torn mesh, bent frames and failed weep holes with photos so you can plan repairs.
