Sparkle Pane started in 2012 with one ladder, one van and a Bearden route. Thirteen years later we are still family run, still flat priced, and still walking every job with the customer before we load up.
Our story
Started with one ladder and a Bearden route
Renata Alvarez cleaned windows for someone else for six years before she started doing it her own way. The thing that bothered her was the pricing: hourly quotes that crept, jobs that got rushed at the end of the day, and customers who never quite knew what they were going to pay.
So Sparkle Pane was built around a flat written price. You get a number before anyone touches your glass, and that number does not move, even on the days when we underestimate the job. Thirteen years later it is still the rule, and it is the single thing customers mention most when they call us back.
We are fourteen people now, running three residential crews and two commercial routes out of a shop on Kingston Pike. We still do the walk-through on every job. If something is not right in the daylight, it gets done again before the van leaves.

Owner and lead estimator
Renata started Sparkle Pane with one ladder and a Bearden route. She still walks most residential estimates herself and writes every quote by hand.
Knows the window count of about 400 Knoxville houses from memory.
Desmond Okafor
Field manager, residential crews
Desmond trains every new cleaner on the squeegee before they are allowed near a customer's glass. He runs the west Knoxville crews Monday through Thursday.
Holds the shop record for a 62-pane house finished before lunch.
Priya Raghunathan
Commercial route lead
Priya looks after the storefront and office routes, from the 6:00 am Bearden run to the Thursday Maryville loop, and handles every certificate of insurance.
Has not missed a scheduled route visit in four years.
Casey Whitlock
Specialty glass technician
Casey handles hard water restoration, solar arrays and anything that needs a test patch before a price. If a stain can come off, Casey is the one who gets it off.
Keeps a binder of before and after photos going back five years.
Marie Boudreaux
Office manager
Marie answers the phone, builds the schedule and sends the reminder texts. If you have spoken to Sparkle Pane, you have probably spoken to Marie.
Reschedules rain days before most customers notice the forecast.
